The application and the license service have separate responsibilities.
DFIRBot processes forensic evidence in the workspace and server selected by the customer. Evidence, case files, and investigation results are not uploaded to TKG Data by the license check.
For licensing and support, TKG Data stores a hashed license key, a hashed device identifier, license status, activation metadata, and the payment email required to deliver the key. Plain license keys are not stored for lookup.
