SafoSnake is a Safari extension that lays any long page out in columns that read as one ribbon: the second column continues where the first one ends, the third where the second ends. Scroll, and they all move together. A wide screen shows four or five screens of a page at once.
One article, four screens of it at once. What leaves the top of one column appears at the bottom of the one before.Documentation reads without the trip back up to find the line you just passed.Feeds keep loading as you near the end of the last column; Clean view draws every post as a simple card.Main hides sidebars, headers and floating banners. Full brings them back.
How it works
One click. Click the SafoSnake button in Safari's toolbar or press Option-Shift-C. Esc closes the columns and the page is back where you left it.
The site as it is. SafoSnake keeps the page's own look. Links work in every column; click one and the tab goes there.
Your number of columns. − and + in the bar: two on a laptop, six on an ultrawide.
Just the content. Main hides what is not the page you came to read; Full shows everything. SafoSnake remembers your choice per site.
Feeds that keep coming. On a feed, new posts load as you near the end of the last column. Social feeds can be shown in Clean view.
What it does not do
No account, no tracking, no data collected. It runs only on the tab where you turn it on, only when you turn it on
It makes no network requests of its own
Video and animation play in the first column; the other columns show them as they were when the page was copied
Some sites cannot be framed; SafoSnake then shows a copy of the page and keeps it up to date
English and Turkish. Requires macOS 26 and Safari. One payment, no subscription.
