Privacy Policy

PhotoProof reads image files on your computer. It collects nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere: the app makes no network requests at all.

What stays on your computer

• Your pictures. They are read from where you opened them and are never copied, uploaded or shared. The app keeps only a reference to the file and the report it produced, in its own data folder.
• Reports. Every analysis is stored locally as a file you can delete from the library at any time.
• Content Credentials. Signatures are checked against a trust list bundled with the app; no lookup is made, and revocation is therefore not checked.

Network

None. On Mac the app is sandboxed without the network entitlement, so it cannot make a request even if it wanted to. On Windows the app contains no networking code and contacts no server.

Analytics and advertising

There are none. No analytics framework, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter, no tracking code of any kind.
